Gooey chocolate chip cookies
Yields: 14 large cookies
Ingredients

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup ( 2 sticks) unsalted butter
½ cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 teaspoons honey
½ teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups milk chocolate chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven 375 degrees
In a large bowl place the flour, baking powder and baking soda. Mix until no clumps
Add salt, vanilla, honey, cinnamon, butter, sugar, brown sugar and eggs. Mix all together
Last, add the chocolate chips
Place parchment paper on each baking sheets.
Next using a large ice cream scoop, scoop out the cookie batter onto the cookie sheets
Bake for 9 to 12 minutes until a light golden brown
Once the cookies are done in the oven, remove from the oven but let the the cookies set before you move them to a cooling rack so the cookies won’t break apart.
After a few minutes, using a spatula, move the cookies to the cooling rack. Remember to be a little gentle. You can also slide the parchment paper with the cookies still in place over to the cooling rack.
(You can always use a smaller scoop or spoon to make smaller cookies. You can also use other chips, such as semi-sweet, peanut butter, etc.)
